Salary: £40-45K + Car allowance Location: Tower Hamlets Region: LondonWe are currently recruiting for a main contractor who are looking for an experienced Finishing Manager to work on a busy project in Tower Hamlets converting and old building into flats. The project has 180 units in total ranging from private sale to shared ownership. The right candidate will be responsible for 50 units from 1 st
fix to hand over to the end client. You will also be expected to successfully manage subcontractor performance to ensure work is completed to the highest standard.You must have experience of working for a main contractor on similar schemesYou will be able to demonstrate working with clients during the finishing/internal phases of the projectYou will be able to demonstrate strong commercial awareness (SLA’s, time of build, quality, profit etc.)Proven experience of successfully managing a sub-contractor work force to a high standard.Strong leadership and people management skills to ensure that objectives are achievedGood oral and written communication skills;A methodical, systematic and logical approach;Focus and drive to achieve targets, budgets and results;Strong understanding of health & safety processesCurrent SSSTS/SMSTS and First Aid certificates.Stable work history not jumpyTo apply please forward your CV through this advert with a good time to give you a call back.
