Salary: £200 P/DLocation: BathRegion: Southern EnglandI currently have an opportunity for a Finishing Foreman for one of the UK’s leading Contractor who operate in the Midlands, South West and London and with an impressive portfolio of projects valuing from £250k to £45m. Working within a mixed bag of sectors ranging from Residential, Commercial, Education, Healthcare, Leisure and Automotive. This company accumulates an annual turnover of £130 million.The project that they are currently working on is a 200 unit Student Accommodation based in the Bath area. They require a Finishing Foreman with experience within this sort of project to work for them until September on a Temporary basis.Requirements:SMSTSCSCSFirst AidExperience working on a Student Accommodation project (Essential)Able to commute to Bath on a daily basis (Essential)Responsibilities:As a Finishing Foreman you will be tasked with the management of tradesmen and apprentices under your controlReporting on Progress and Quality to the Project ManagerIdentifying any possible hold ups/issues that may affect project progressSafe control of all site based operationsEnsure all tasks on site are completed in line with company and client procedures and specificationsEnsure all sectional ‘sign off’ sheets are completed in accordance with company proceduresCoordinate the delivery of materials in accordance with program requirementsLiaise with Clerk of Works/Project ManagersEnsure that all persons working under your control are suitably trained and skilledEnsure that tasks are carried out in the most efficient manner possible whilst maintaining the utmost standards of quality control and achieving optimum results for the projectKeep an accurate site diaryManage the Permit to Work system, ensuring all permits required are issued before work commences and that permits are closed out accordinglyEnsure compliance with all Fire, Traffic and Health & Safety PlansEnsure that all accident/incidents/near-misses are reportedEnsure that all workers under your supervision utilize correct PPE and work in accordance with site Health & Safety regulationsMatthew Morais Apply For This JobTitleNameAddressPostcodeYour EmailAttach CV
