Typically, this person will work amongst a team to provide high-quality finished components for a busy boat manufacturer.

Duties and responsibilities of the GRP Composite Finisher:
Responsible for looking for identifying defects needing rework.
Repair gel coat surfaces to smooth joint lines from spilt mould tools and remove imperfections.
Trimming of GRP components using tools such as air saws, routers and diamond cutting discs, where required.
Polishing of gel coat surfaces to get a high-quality finish.
