After recent growth and new clients including fintech's, banks, capital market participants, securities dealers, general and life insurers, Lloyds insurers, insurance brokers, funds and fund managers, we have ambitious targets for the future.  Tax remains high on the agenda for our FS clients with ongoing geo-political change and significant tax, regulatory and accounting reforms impacting all sectors.  To help our clients navigate the existing complexities and future uncertainties, we are recruiting to develop the team and our capabilities to respond to the market.

About the role

• We have a newly created Tax Advisory Manager role due to the success of the Financial Services Tax team


• Alongside the Partners you will undertake legislative research and draft written analyses to support our tax advisory work with specific relevance to financial services tax and Banking and Capital Markets and Insurance.


• Build tax accounting skills and industry knowledge through supporting audits of tax


• Help deliver high-quality work for clients and profitable outcomes for the business through use of best practices, technology and alignment with Firm policies


• Work with more junior team members in the delegation and review of work as well as fostering their learning and development

What are we looking for?

• Qualified at ACA, CTA or equivalent


• Keen interest in the Banking and Capital Markets or Insurance industry with a desire to build further UK tax expertise


• Awareness of and willingness to maintain up-to-date knowledge of broader business tax, international tax, regulatory and accounting areas


• Experience of managing client financials and adjusting approach according to budget
