This role will predominantly involve Financial Services Advisory work, but the associate will also have the opportunity to work on contentious matters. Closely working with some leading partners in the FS practice area, this role would provide excellent exposure to first-rate clients. The range of clients includes: investment firms, insurers, payment services, challenger and neo Banks, credit unions as well as senior banking executives.The team consists of a range of specialist lawyers assisting on the entire life cycle of firms in the FS sector. A number of the partners have industry experience working in-house at FS firms, or the Financial Services Authority. The firm would be interested in candidates from either an in-house position or private practice team.To be considered, you must:Be an England & Wales qualified lawyer, with between 2 and 4 years’ experience working within a strong Financial Services team;have good regulatory knowledge as well as experience working on contentious regulatory matters;have experience advising a selection of banks, insurers, funds, fintechs and/or consumer credit firms;have strong academics and a team focused attitude.
