Financial Reporting Manager

Goodman Masson are excited to be partnered with a medium sized housing association on their search for a Financial Reporting Manager!
What is the role?
Main responsibilities:
Prepare quarterly financial reports for the Executive Management Team and the Board, including detailed analysis of budget and forecast variances
Produce an executive summary with financial KPIs and highlights
Lead the preparation of Annual Statutory Accounts and liaise with external auditors
Ensure timely submission of regulatory returns to relevant bodies and external benchmarking data
Collaborate with the Financial Services Manager on finance system development, focusing on systems for management accounts reporting, forecasting, and purchase ordering
Provide proactive finance business partnering services to operational teams, offering assistance, training, and maintaining regular communication with all budget holders
Contribute to the development of performance policies and procedures to uphold high standards of customer care in financial services
Lead, motivate, and support Assistant Management Accountants and Finance Business Partner to deliver a professional, customer-focused service
Undertake any other duties as reasonably requested by the management team
This role is offering a salary of circa £67,000 per annum, with heavily remote working - Aylesbury based.
