With several hundred employees across the UK, they offer a range of services to a broad spectrum of clients. They are renowned for their commitment to delivering high-quality services and maintaining a supportive, inclusive workplace.Job DescriptionOversee and manage all financial reporting activities within the company.Post acquisition integration of new businesses.Conversion to IFRS reporting standards.Completion accounts and opening balance sheets.Preparing group consolidated accounts.Ownership of technical reporting, including liaison with external auditors and tax advisors, ensuring financial integrity of the statutory accounts.Financial reporting to be presented at board level.Review of balance sheet reconciliations and support and implement process improvement.Lead on the annual audit, being the main point of contact between the auditors and the finance team.Develop and implement financial reporting procedures and policies.Provide financial advice to senior management.Mentor and guide finance team members.The Successful ApplicantA successful Financial Reporting Manager should have:A qualification in accounting or finance (ACA is preferred)Proven experience in a financial reporting role within the professional services industry.Strong knowledge of financial reporting standards and regulations.Excellent analytical and numerical skills.Strong leadership and team management skills.Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.Proficiency in financial software and Microsoft Office Suite.What's on OfferA competitive salary range of £60,000 - £70,000 per annum.25 days holiday leave.The opportunity for hybrid working.Clear paths for career progression within the company.We encourage all suitable candidates to apply for this exciting opportunity to join a highly respected company within the professional services industry based in Manchester.
