GROUP REPORTING MANAGER | £55,000 - £60,000 | HYBRID REED is delighted to be further assisting an expanding, innovative technology business in the Antrim area, in the appointment of a full-time GROUP REPORTING MANAGER on a permanent, hybrid basis. The role Reporting to the Group Financial Controller, the Group Reporting Manager will lead the evolution and the continuous enhancement of the business’s internal financial reporting, and the processes and controls, to deliver high quality, accurate information. This role will also be the primary point of contact for the audit. Main Responsibilities include;
Coordination of the monthly, quarterly, and annual financial close processResponsible for the monthly consolidation of the global reporting entities and group financialreporting (checks/validations/review).Responsible for the preparation and consolidation of the Group's monthly managementreporting packPreparation of monthly balance sheet reconciliations, including commentaryIdentify and embed process and controls improvements across the groupWorks closely with the financial controller to ensure continuous improvement of the financialcontrol environmentProvide technical accounting leadership and ownership of the financial accounting reportingsystemCoordinates the annual external audit process for the international businessCoordinates the preparation of the annual UK GAAP financial statements for the group’s UKentitiesActs as a point of contact for technical accounting mattersResponsible for the UK corporation tax filing obligations and preparation and submission ofR&D tax credit calculations along with coordination with the Group tax advisors.Build strong relationships with operational/functional teams, to drive financial accuracy andcompleteness across the GroupTakes a leading role in the development of team members across the finance functionMaintains accounting policy documentation and ensures that new and emerging accountingand disclosure requirements are appropriately appliedOversight of cash flow reporting including the preparation of suitable forecasts and otheranalysis Essential Criteria
Qualified accountant (ideally Top 10 practice-trained) with 2+ years post-qualified experienceExperience of reporting across multiple jurisdictionsA strong technical accountant with good knowledge of statutory accounting, processesand controlsA strong communicator with the ability to work with senior stakeholders, providing robust and constructive challengeA very high level of personal drive and motivation and the ability to progress matters with a significant degree of independenceAdvanced Excel skillsExceptional planning, organisation, and communication skills with the ability to advise and influence multiple stakeholders at various levels
