This will be reporting into the Global Financial Controller, the Group Financial Reporting team are the gatekeepers of finance across the Group. Responsibility for implementation and adherence to Group accounting policies is only part of it; the team play a key part in:Delivering the Groups external results and internal month end processesDeveloping a robust control framework while driving excellent data quality for decision makingBalance sheet review and risk managementCash flow forecasting and management of capital expenditureAudit relationship management and statutory obligation complianceManagement and identification of accounting risk and opportunityProviding accounting guidance to regional finance teamsAccounting for complex areas and transactionsQualificationsStrong technical accounting knowledgeExperience of audit and statutory processes preferredHighly numerate with ability to quickly understand and challenge complex workpapersProfessional scepticism with an ability to detect weaknesses in explanations and tenacity to track down an answerExcellent communicator - both written and verbalStrong interpersonal skills - ability to form and leverage relationshipsAdditional InformationOur uniqueness is that we truly celebrate yours.Experian's culture and people are key differentiators.
