Financial Reporting Accountant

Group Accountant Salary: £70-£80k Location: London An exciting opportunity has arisen for a highly skilled Group Accountant to join a dynamic and fast-paced environment. This role offers an attractive salary range of £70-£80k, based in excellent offices in central London.The successful candidate will be responsible for managing a subset of activities that deliver monthly financial reporting, ensuring compliance with accounting policies, an effective close procedure, integrity of the ledgers, and clear line of sight to the underlying business activities. This role is perfect for someone who thrives in a collaborative setting and is passionate about renewable energy and its vital role in safeguarding our planet's future.Key Remits to the role include;Manage activities contributing to the monthly financial reporting and consolidation process for the Group, ensuring accuracy, completeness, and timeliness of both inputs and outputs.Review trial balances received from outsourced service providers, ensure they are appropriately adjusted to reflect Group accounting policy, and manage the process for uploading this information to our ledgers.Run processes that contribute to the monthly consolidation at Group and Investment Platform level.Generate monthly reports to shareholders and management.Collaborate with the FP&A team to ensure the financial information received accurately reflects business activities and provide insights into financial performance.Contribute as required to UK statutory reporting and audits.The successful candidate will be;Qualified member of an accountancy body, technically strong with a good understanding of IFRS.Minimum of 3 years post qualification experience (PQE).Experience in a Group reporting and consolidation function in an international business.Experience operating with outsourced service provision or captive shared service centres.Ability to exercise judgement, solve problems, support decision-making, and communicate financial information.Energetic and highly motivated personality with ability to operate in a fast-paced environment.Experience with Sage X3 is beneficial.If you would like to be part of a business with a fantastic culture.
