An exciting opportunity has arisen to join our Finance Team as a Financial Planning & System Analyst. The Financial Planning & Analysis team's purpose is to manage and deliver the core management accounting of the Covea companies delivering corporate insight, project and decision support, financial control, reporting and support to the business on time, every time.What will I be doing?Supporting the management and control of data, analysis and insight to enable the delivery of management information, forecasting and strategic planning cycles. In particular, you will be a key control point to transform system data and information into meaningful, usable and insightful output. In this you will support, undertake and enable the Financial Planning & Analysis team and wider stakeholder enhanced and timely access to financial insights.Being a key lead in enhancing the reporting capabilities from the MI System (Axiom) and specifically: Developing user friendly and repeatable reporting templates, Developing reports using Power BI, Updating and improving reporting, along with enhancing existing reporting to better meet the needs of stakeholdersUse finance skills and insights to ensure the reporting is aligned with best practice including rules and regulations where applicable.Support the MI System team in managing workload and delivering system outputs for the Financial Reporting and Financial Planning & Analysis teams as well as other stakeholders by providing a bridge between developer activity and reporting outputs.Being proactively involved in delivery of the annual business plan, quarterly forecasting and other regular reporting activities including delivery of various scenarios.Supporting the process with others in FP&A and working with stakeholders across the business to deliver analysis and insight.Seeking to improve the quality and control environment as well as the automating of processes and improving efficiency.Identifying control improvements in the operational aspects of the Financial Reporting & Analysis team's activities and being proactive in recommending and implementing changes.Being a key part in the development, improvement and continued engagement of key stakeholders in the business and specifically in the development of MI reporting.What would we like to see in you?Part qualified accountant (ACCA, ACA or CIMA)Financial planning and analysis knowledge.Strong Power BI or equivalent experience.Experience in developing MI reporting and analysis in a Finance environment.Strong communication skills with all levels of internal and external stakeholder.Proven ability to quickly and successfully take on and adapt to new challenges.Strong controls experience.Self-driven, can work autonomously with a proven work ethicTeam player who enjoys working inclusively with people from different backgrounds and disciplinesProactive professional in planning to achieve targets and objectivesWhat's on offer?36.25 working hours per week with flexitime, (along with a range of flexible working options)Annual pay review and performance related bonus25 days holiday + bank holidays, with the option to buy/sell holidaysContinued professional development through internal training programmes, professional qualifications and apprenticeshipsA wealth of support for your mental, financial & physical wellbeing through our Wellbeing group, who provide Mental Health First Aiders and an Employee Assistance Programme where you and your family can access additional support such as counselling, financial advice, relationship support and free mortgage adviceA range of health benefits such as access to a 24/7 Virtual GP, free eye tests, flu jabs and the option to opt into private medical insuranceTusker Car Scheme - salary sacrifice scheme which lets you drive away a brand new, fully maintained and insured car for up to four years.Peace of mind, with our life assurance plan with flexible options to increase or decrease the standard cover along with the option to opt in to our critical illness coverGenerous pension scheme with a 7.5% minimum employer pension contribution, matched to maximum of 9% dependant on your contributionA volunteering day a year to support a charity close to your heartA big thank you for sticking around, with our Loyalty Bonus - once you reach 5 years service and beyondAdditional benefits such as discounted gym memberships, cycle to work schemes and discounts at lots of retailers through Perkpal.Salary:Up to £43,000 (DOE)Working hours:36.25
