The group has had solid financial performance, has strong cashflow with no debt and has significant pipeline of transformative development initiatives in the real estate sector.The Role:Our client is seeking a dynamic, capable, and commercially astute Finance Director to join their leadership team. The successful candidate will assume responsibility for the financial operations of the group, driving strategic initiatives and fostering growth opportunities. This role offers the opportunity to become a Board Director within a short timeframe, subject to performance.Responsibilities:Oversee the Group’s financial operations, providing financial leadership, ensuring accuracy and timeliness of statutory and management accounts, along with all business planning, budgeting, and forecasting.Manage all SPVs and associated tasks, ensuring compliance with statutory requirements and regulatory reporting.Facilitate corporate structure management, including company setup/windup and share register maintenance.SPV sales/acquisitions - financial input to the process and to completion.Sourcing and putting in place debt and advising on capital structures for deals with a need to build and maintain relationships with debt and equity partners.Collaborate closely with the Development team to optimise financial performance and develop financial strategies. Providing reporting and analysis to funding partners.Develop and establish the Group’s strategy in partnership with the CEO, including raising debt and equity as required.Provide detailed reporting and analysis to the Board, including management accounts and cashflow forecasts.Manage key internal and external stakeholder relationships and project reporting/payment applications and updating financial models for partners and funders.Oversee payroll, corporation tax, VAT, and Construction Industry Scheme filings.Various ad hoc tasks / projectsCandidate Requirements:Qualified accountant (ACA/ACCA/CIMA).Strong leadership skills with experience managing teams.Experience gained from the property sector in senior finance positions.Excellent communication, presentation, and business partnering skills.Proven ability to add commercial value.Strong knowledge of financial analysis, forecasting, and reporting.Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.Experience with financial software and technology.On offer: The company is offering a competitive remuneration package including a lucrative bonus scheme and other benefits including private healthcare.
