You are trusted to make decisions that drive a material impact on the direction and success of Lendable from day 1> Work insmall teams of exceptional people, who are relentlessly resourceful to solve problems and find smarter solutions than the status quo> Build the best technologyin-house, using new data sources, machine learning and AI to make machines do the heavy liftingAbout the role(Location: London/Kent) You’ll report into the Fraud & Financial Crime Operations Manager, where you will oversee a small team who conduct important financial crime checks and investigations into new applicants and existing customers. The ideal candidate will also be proficient at completing these checks yourself, as well as handling the more complex cases. You will also provide training and guidance to the financial crime investigators. The team is based in the office 3 days per week. Depending on your preference, you can opt to work at either our London office or our Kent office. * Please note that you will be required to work one full weekend (Saturday and Sunday), once every 4 weeks, and have two weekdays off in lieu.Occasional travel between our Kent & London office may be required.Your team's objectivesProtect our customers and society, by preventing fraud and financial crime. Comply with financial crime regulations and company policy. Minimise customer and applicant friction through skilled and timely decisions. Identify opportunities for product and process improvement.How you will impact those objectivesYou’ll lead a small team which supports new application checks and existing customer monitoring, and you’ll also complete some of these checks.
