Job Description:
We are seeking a highly skilled Financial Controller to join a small and friendly 0team in London. As the Financial Controller, you will be responsible for overseeing all financial activities of the company, ensuring compliance with accounting standards and regulations, and providing strategic financial guidance to senior management. The Financial Controller wil be reporting directly to the CEO and Operations Director.
Job Duties:
Manage and oversee the financial accounting, budgeting, and forecasting processes
Prepare financial statements and reports for internal and external stakeholders
Monitor cash flow, expenses, and financial performance
Develop and implement financial policies and procedures
Lead the annual audit process and liaise with external auditors
Provide financial analysis and recommendations to support decision-making
Ensure compliance with tax regulations and reporting requirements
Manage a small finance team
Candidate Profile
ACCA, CIMA, or ACA qualification
Proven experience as a Financial Controller or similar role
A commercial, ambitious, customer focused Financial Controller with hospitality industry experience.
Experience in developing and implementing financial controls, reporting systems and business partnering, managing cashflow and working capital management.
Comfortable working in a casual but motivated small team environment.
Strong knowledge of accounting principles and financial regulations
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
