We are working with a listed FMCG company as they search for their next Financial Controller as the current FC of 6 years is leaving, you will be reporting into the EMEA FC and have direct line management of a Management Accountant.
The EMEA FC has been with the business for 9 years, she started as a Management Accountant, was promoted to UK FC before being promoted to the EMEA FC 6 years ago, she tells us she has stayed so long as the company is always evolving, there is always something to do and every day is a little bit different.
The usual bits you'll be doing in this role....
Take ownership of key financial statements and forecasts including the P&L, balance sheet, net working capital, capital investment and free cash flow.
Lead the annual budget process (zero based budgets)
Manage the month-end close process, including analysis, review, and sign-off of financial results
New product costings process.
