We will provide easy access to funding when needed, helping businesses to prosper by increasing their stocking capacity and improving liquidity.Due to ongoing projects, we are looking for a Financial Controller to join the Partner Finance team and work closely with the Divisional Finance Director. This is an excellent career development opportunity, and over time the successful candidate should expect to take on a broader leadership role, either in the division or the wider group. As well as having the opportunity to focus on improving controls and processes, the FC will also play an important role in the professional development of team members.What you'll doWork closely with the Partner Finance team, across all areas of financial reporting and FP&AImplement and develop high quality processes, controls and systems which enable efficient, timely and accurate production of high quality financial reportingContribute to ensuring integrity and accuracy of weekly and monthly reporting to the Partner Finance Management Team, budget holders and other stakeholders in the wider BCA GroupOwnership and accountability for balance sheet integrity and reconciliationsDevelop internal relationships with relevant teams colleagues to further develop business knowledge and also share/promote best practice ideas across the businessProactively identify opportunities to support business growth, and undertake and/or lead ad hoc projectsMaintain and improve financial reporting procedures ensuring documentation of risk and necessary contingency plansLiaise with the Group Team, and external auditors in co ordination of statutory, tax, and related mattersFull involvement in current banking syndications arrangements, including monthly reconciliations and routine banking auditsWho you areQualified Accountant, ideally gained in a Big 4 or direct from industryAdaptable, determined and enthusiastic for new challengesStrong technical skills and an understanding of processes & controls in an Audit and/or divisional finance environmentA willingness to devise , implement and improving financial and operational processesExperience of managing and developing teams would be advantageousWell-organised with excellent attention to detail and the ability to multi-taskExcellent interpersonal skills, including good oral and written communication skillsGood influencer with an ability to build and maintain strong relationships at all levelsEnthusiastic team player, with a desire to be involved in a variety of activities, and a willingness to take ownership and a hands on approachWhy BCA?We've put everything in place to ensure you thrive.
