This position offers an excellent platform for professional growth within a supportive and inclusive environmentFinancial ControllerSalary: £70,000 - £85,000 plus 10-15%Location: BorehamwoodLead a diverse finance team across the UK and ItalyOversee a wide range of financial reporting, analysis, and compliance tasksPlay a pivotal role in providing accurate and timely financial data to senior managementWhat you'll do:As Financial Controller, you will be at the heart of the finance department and you will report into the MD. Your primary responsibility will be to ensure that the finance function provides accurate and timely financial data to our senior management. You will manage a diverse team based across the UK and Italy, fostering an inclusive work environment that encourages collaboration and commitment. Your role will encompass a broad range of tasks from managing treasury functions to ensuring compliance with UK GAAP. You will also work closely with the Tax Manager to ensure tax compliance across different countries.Responsible for financial and management reporting (monthly, quarterly, annually), including consolidation of branch accountsManage the Treasury function including multiple currenciesEnsure compliance with UK GAAP, regulations, internal policies and proceduresWork with the Tax Manager to ensure tax compliance in different countriesProduce annual budgets and quarterly forecasts, analyse and report variances on a monthly basisDevelop and maintain risk management procedures with the Senior Management TeamManage J-Sox and other internal control proceduresWhat you bring:The ideal candidate for this Financial Controller position brings a wealth of experience in similar roles. You must be fully Qualified ACCA or ACA and have honed your planning, organisational, leadership, and motivational skills. Your excellent communication skills enable you to connect with employees at all levels professionally. You possess solid knowledge of UK GAAP or IFRS, are proficient in Microsoft Office especially Excel, and have good working knowledge of ERP systems.
