About Our Client Our client is an established player in the FMCG sector, with a significant presence across the globe. They are widely recognised for their high-quality products. This is a c.£20-£30m t/o division of a much larger global business.
Job DescriptionManage and oversee the entire accounting team; directly line managing 1 person who in turn manages 2-3.Prepare timely and detailed reports on financial performance on a monthly, quarterly and annual basisOversee the preparation of all financial auditsEnsure compliance with financial regulations and standardsConduct analysis to make forecasts and report to group level financeParticipate in strategic planning and decision-making at the management level to align with company goalsMaking sure the site follows company procedureContinually review and improve financial processes and systems The Successful Applicant A successful Financial Controller should have:Excellent communication skillsProven experience in a similar role, this can be within the FMCG sector or within another industryExcellent analytical and numerical skillsStrong ethical standards and high levels of integrityStrong knowledge of accounting software / ExcelAbility to strategise and solve problems What's on OfferA competitive salary range of £50,000 - £60,000 per annum + car allowanceA generous holiday leaveA hybrid working model, with both remote and office-based workOpportunity to work in a diverse and inclusive environmentCar allowance and a performance-related bonusWe invite all qualified individuals who feel they can make a significant contribution to our continued success to apply.
