Financial Controller

Working within the Microscopy department, at ZEISS, we are looking for a Financial Controller to manage financial operations and ensuring efficient day to day running of the team.This is a dynamic role with a broad role with a variety.• Lead the annual and quarterly forecasting with monthly cost centre reviews.• Prepare financial updates with commentary for the board and senior team as required• Overall responsibility for preparation of monthly, quarterly, and yearly financial statements (as of year-end preparation of statutory financial statements including notes)• Creation of national and international financial statements• Perform ad hoc analysis to Balance Sheet and P&L• Project work to assist the wider company and global finance team by providing key financial insights• Management of a small teamWe're looking for people who are empathetic and passionate, who are committed to achieving their goals, and who get excited about challenging topics.
