Sewell Wallis are currently partnering on an exclusive basis with an SME in Bradford who are looking to recruit a Financial Controller into their Head Office Team.Our client is looking for a qualified Accountant, ideally CIMA / ACCA / ACA with a strong commercial acumen who can work with the senior management team in developing strategic initiatives that drive long term growth and profitability.Reporting to the Managing Director, your responsibilities will include:-Preparing budgets and forecastsOverseeing the preparation of financial reports including balance sheets, cash flow and income statementsManaging the businesses' capital structure including debt and equity financingIdentifying and assessing financial risksAssisting with the roll out of a new ERP systemConducting financial analysis to identify areas of improvementOverseeing the processing of monthly payrollmanaging and developing a small teamEnsuring compliance with financial regulations, accounting standards and tax lawsBuilding and maintaining relationships with key stakeholdersRequirementsFully qualified Accountant ( ideally CIMA / ACCA / ACA)Strong analytical skillsAbility to make strategic decisions and experience of working with senior stakeholdersExcellent communication and presentation skills Experience of managing a small teamBenefits25 days holiday plus bank holidaysHybrid working - 3 days in the office and 2 WFHCompetitive benefits packageOnsite parkingFor further details please contact Emma Dugdale or Martin Elam.To apply please send your CV, quoting our reference and specifying which website you saw this position advertised on.
