And we will be better with you.Sensient Technologies has an exciting opportunity for an experienced Finance Controller in our Flavors division covering Savory performance EMEA and general accounting France. The role will be located in Milton Keynes, UK, with up to 50% of travel required to Strasbourg France.What you'll do:Serve as a key member of the Finance Team reporting directly into the European Finance Director FlavorsEnsure and be responsible for accurate financial reporting for Savory performance (US GAAP) and statutory accounts (French GAAP).Supervise the French payroll processBe responsible for account's consolidation.Be responsible for Sensient France tax affairs.Be responsible for all French statutory returns.Directly manage a team of two in France and work with a matrix set up of support from Shared Service AP/AR, Supply Chain Accounting and Management Accounting.What you'll bring:As a Senior Finance Individual with one of the following educational backgrounds: Bachelor's Degree with finance or accounting option. You can already demonstrate a solid track record in an equivalent Finance Controller role preferably in a manufacturing type company and ideally within an organization operating with international transactions.An ACA qualification along with experience in public accounting.Experience in import/export processes and intra company transactions is requiredAccounting experience in Listed company is a plus.Experience regarding the month-end close process.Experience regarding cost accounting.Experience as a business unit controller in a manufacturing environment (preferred).Ability to demonstrate high proficiency level in budgeting, forecasting, month-end reporting, and inventory valuation.Fluency in French and knowledge of French tax system would be a strong advantageWhat you'll get:Opportunity to collaborate with your colleagues, onsite 5 days per week in Milton Keynes, UK.The opportunity to travel internationally: 50% of the time to Strasbourg, France.An excellent salary, benefit offering and development opportunitiesA thorough and effective training experience during onboarding and beyondAbout Sensient:Sensient Technologies Corporation is a leading global manufacturer and marketer of colors, flavors, and extracts.
