and detail-oriented Financial Controller to join the team. Role Overview: The Financial Controller will play a pivotal role in managing financial reporting, compliance, and strategic decision-making. You will collaborate closely with senior leadership, external auditors, and cross-functional teams. Statutory Reporting:
Prepare and oversee all statutory reporting for the group and subsidiaries.Ensure compliance with relevant accounting standards and regulations. Financial Presentations:
Create and deliver compelling analyst presentations at interim and year-end meetings.Synthesise complex financial data into clear, concise messages. Trading Updates:
Be responsible for preparing accurate numbers for trading updates.Collaborate with stakeholders to ensure timely and accurate information dissemination. External Audit Management:
Manage the external audit process.Coordinate with divisions and auditors to facilitate smooth audits. IFRS Adjustments:
Review and prepare all IFRS adjustments.Ensure consistency and accuracy in financial statements. Group Consolidation:
Oversee the Group consolidation process.Validate intercompany transactions and eliminate discrepancies. Treasury Oversight:
Provide high-level oversight of the Group’s treasury activities.Collaborate with the treasury team to optimize cash management and liquidity. Team Leadership:
Lead and mentor a team of 5 finance professionals.Foster a collaborative and results-driven work environment. Qualifications:
ACA or ACCA qualification is essential.Proven experience in financial control, preferably from a practice background.Strong knowledge of IFRS and financial reporting.Excellent analytical skills and attention to detail.Proficiency in accounting softwareEffective communication and leadership abilities.Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
