Financial Controller

RM Recruit Ltd is recruiting a Financial Controller on behalf of their Staffordshire based educational client on a permanent basis.

As the Financial Controller, you will lead the finance team and be responsible for the finance function including budgeting process.

Main duties include:

• Producing management accounts including presenting to Board


• Working closely with the FD to advise of current financial position


• Managing the finance function


• Producing annual forecasts


• Ensuring cash flow reporting is accurate


• Preparing reports and ensuring financial controls are adhered to


• Production of annual accounts including liaison with auditors


• Leading the financial accounting process


• Business partner with a wide range of stakeholders across the organisation

As the ideal candidate, you will be qualified, ACA/CIMA/CIPFA, however candidates who are QBE and Part Qualified will be considered. You will have proven leadership skills whilst an understanding of the FE sector will hold you in good stead, however this is not essential. This role benefits from a hybird model, working 2 days per week from home.
