We are committed to building a diverse and inclusive workforce that encourages and values all voices - Everyone is welcomeHOW YOU'LL SPEND YOUR TIMEProducing month end management accounts analysis packLiaising with departmental Directors to obtain relevant information for monthly reporting responsibilitiesLiaising with various departmental heads and budget holders to manage budget trackingAssist in tracking departmental performance against set revenue and profit targets and goalsWorking with the Financial Planning and AnalysisTeam on Company and Group wide budgets, re-forecasts and long range forecastsEvaluate financial performance and preparing analysis and profitability reportsKey KPI of the role is to provide timely and accurate reporting of departmental / organisational net profit analysis for operational useAssist with producing ad-hoc commercial and strategic decks for senior leadership, shareholders and other stakeholders.Assist with other commercial finance analysis as requiredAssist with shareholder operational reports and requests as requiredAssist in improving and developing systems and processes to aid automation and output as the Group growsProducing ad hoc, project based analysis with quick turnover for use by senior management and various internal stakeholdersExcel based financial modelling of various deal structures/options and scenario analysisWorking with the wider Finance team to aid month end reportingAssist with coordination and integration of future acquisitions into the Little Dot Finance function as requiredActively improving FP&A workflows and systemisation projects to aid automationWHAT YOU NEED TO SUCCEEDSkills matter, experience is useful, attitude is everything.ACA / ACCA / CIMA qualified teamed with qualified experienceAptitude for managing large data sets and summarising for purposeExperience in complex financial modelling and an analytical mindSkilled and intuitive Excel user with proven Advanced Excel skillsGood team player demonstrating strong interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to interact with people at all levels within the businessStrong communication skills to varying stakeholdersHands on and proactive self-starter who is able to organise their workload and meet deadlinesStrong analytical and data gathering skillsStrong organising skills and proactiveness in completing tasksAbility to learn fast and apply knowledge to task at handAbility to manage monthly deadlines alongside short turn-around project based deadlinesStrong attention to detail and accuracy is essentialExperience in Power BI desirable but not essentialExperience of Octopus PMI and Google Suite preferred but not essentialTHE PERKS OF THE JOBEmployee wellbeing is at the heart of everything we do.
