Financial Advisor - TraineeDue to continuing growth, my client is looking for Trainee Financial Advisor's in several of their locations including Cheltenham, Cleckheaton, Chester/North Wales and Durham.They are looking for professional people who can develop into a role and be able to offer expert advice on suitable investments, private pensions, tax planning, and insurance products and provide a valuable service to work with my clients established client base.In this role, you will have the opportunity to work with the existing in-house team, including administrators and para-planners, to service existing clients, help develop the business in the future and ultimately, develop from Trainee to Full Financial Adviser with huge career growth potential.In order to fulfil the requirements of this role, my client is looking for the following:Professional individuals ideally already Qualified to Diploma 4 looking to progress into a career in Financial Services.Ideally some Financial Services experience would be preferred Mortgage Adviser / Protection Adviser etc. You need to be self-motivated and numeric, have excellent communication and organisational skills with the ability to work independently.The principal functions of a financial advisor are to provide customers with accurate information and bespoke deals that will enable them to make educated choices that suits their specific requirements.As such, this role will require a mix of telephone and face to face advice (including virtual). You need to maintain transparent financial and contract details and liaise with service providers.The main responsibilities of this role will vary depending upon your specific role, but will typically include the following: contacting clients and setting up meetings, either within an office environment or in clients' homes or business premisesconducting in-depth reviews of clients' financial circumstances, current provision and future aimsanalysing information and preparing plans best suited to individual clients' requirementscompleting risk analysesresearching the marketplace and providing clients with information on new and existing products and servicesdesigning financial strategiesassisting clients to make informed decisionsresearching information from various sources, including providers of financial productsreviewing and responding to clients changing needs and financial circumstancespromoting and selling financial products to meet given or negotiated sales targetsnegotiating with product suppliers for the best possible ratesliaising with head office and financial services providerscommunicating with other professionals, such as estate agents, solicitors and valuerskeeping up to date with financial products and legislationproducing financial reportscontacting clients with news of new financial products or changes to legislation that may affect their savings and investmentsmeeting the regulatory aspects of the role, e.g. requirements for disclosure, costs of the services provided and also the advised products.
