Financial Accounting Manager

I am recruiting the Financial Accounting Manager for a rapidly growing, international professional services firm. As Financial Accounting Manager you will lead the team (4) responsible for all aspects of statutory accounting and financial reporting. Key responsibilities:Preparation of group financial statements in accordance with IFRSManaging both overseas and UK subsidiary statutory accounting processesEnsuring compliance with relevant (IFRS) accounting standardsLiaising with the Auditors on all aspects of reporting, ensuring that all relevant information is provided within agreed timeframes.Review and oversee month end close entries made by the teamIdentifying any accounting or technical issues in accordance with IFRS and leading on the resolution of these items.Leading, developing and mentoring the team. Your profile: A qualified accountant (ACA / ACCA), ideally you will have trained in an audit practice.Possess strong financial and statutory accounting experienceExcellent communication skills, able to simplify complex technical / IFRS accounting issues.Meticulously organised and detail focused.Interpersonally strong and able to lead a team of finance professionals.Legal experience would be beneficial.Hybrid - 2-3 days in Central London office.
