Financial Accounting Manager

About the Business

An opportunity to be a Financial Accounting Manager for an excellent technology business in Tamworth. The business is part of a multi-£billion group which operates globally.

Main Duties:

As a Financial Accounting Manager, your main duties include:

• Be a key part of the business reporting function


• Supporting the Head of Management Reporting with day-to-day management


• Processing and reviewing month-end posting


• Maintaining detailed balance sheet reconciliations


• Production and submission of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports with variance analysis


• Responding to queries from internal and external auditors


• Enquiries and analysis pertaining to VAT and Corporation tax


• Improving financial controls and month close procedures


• Ad hoc duties as required

Location / Office / Culture

The role is hybrid, with two or three days a week in the office and the rest at home.

What We Are Looking For

The ideal candidate will have:

• ACA or ACCA qualifications


• Experience with FMCG, logistics, technology or a multisite businesses


• An ability to work independently and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment


• Excellent written and verbal communication skills


• Experience in managing a team
