Join us.The EMEA accounting and reporting function owns the GL accounting and oversees the month end closing procedures for all subsidiaries in Europe, Middle East and Africa. We work across various accounting projects, providing technical support and ensuring all statutory requirements are compliant, including preparation of financial statements and liaison with external auditors.We are looking for a highly motivated and proactive Financial Accounting Manager to join our EMEA Accounting and Reporting team on a permanent basis. The successful applicant will be responsible for ensuring the completeness and accuracy of our books and records, assisting with statutory accounting and the preparation of multiple statutory accounts across the TikTok EMEA region.Key Responsibilities:- External Accounting Service Management: Manage relationships with external accounting service providers. Ensure accurate and timely preparation of reporting packages on a monthly/quarterly basis.- Financial Reporting Support: Support monthly closing procedures. Prepare quarterly reconciliations between IFRS and local GAAPs for legal entities.- Financial Statements Preparation: Assist in the preparation of financial statements. Coordinate with external auditors to ensure timely completion of statutory audits.- Compliance and Standards: Keep abreast of relevant accounting standards. Apply group accounting policies, standards, and internal control practices across EMEA entities.- Ad-Hoc Reporting: Generate ad-hoc reports for UK/EC regulators and Group Finance as required.QualificationsMinimum Qualifications:- BA/BS degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.- ACA/ACCA fully qualified with of post qualification experience.- Current theoretical and practical knowledge of IFRS and its implications on reporting.- Advanced Microsoft Excel skills.- Self-directed, self-motivated and strong learning ability. Able to complete work independently with attention to detail. Ability to thrive in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.- Strong and collaborative communicator.Preferred Qualifications:- Practice experience in audit with a combination of in-house E-commerce experience preferred.- Experience with large ERP accounting and reporting systems, Oracle and HFM preferred.- Proficiency in another european language is a plus.TikTok is committed to creating an inclusive space where employees are valued for their skills, experiences, and unique perspectives.
