IntroductionMy client requires the expertise of a Senior Project Accountant / Finance Business Partner to help support its consultancy business ensure project costs are controlled and profitable on work they have currently and for future work won via MoD Frameworks / Tenders within Defence and Aerospace domains. You must be a CIMA, ACCA, ACA or equivalent qualified to apply.You will be responsible for overseeing major frameworks / projects within the division and taking the lead on financial compliance and regulatory reporting requirements across the division. Your main role will be to oversee the projects ensuring that all costs attributed to the delivery of all contracts.The role will focus on operational accounting activities for Joint Operations, Single source frameworks and major frameworks, ensuring compliance with regulations, preparing and reviewing bids from a financial perspective, reporting both internal and externally. The role will work closely with the client, delivery and operational managers to ensure robust accounting procedures are in place.The role reports directly to the Financial Controller.This is a hybrid role with 2 days on site per week.Skills & Background required;CIMA, ACCA, ACA or equivalentMoD Single source regulation reporting & Joint Operation accounting Operational & Financial accounting Cost controls & Project downturn minimisationSalary: £55,000 - £80,000 per annumCompany Cultures: My client is a warm and nurturing consultancy company who encourage you to grow and learn new skills.
