Financial Accountant £50,000-60,000 plus excellent bonus Central London, HybridOur client is a rapidly expanding privately owned real estate investor with properties across the UK and Europe. They are currently hiring for a Newly Qualified Accountant to join their growing team and contribute to their success.Key Responsibilities: Managing quarterly joint venture reporting, including bookkeeping and management account preparationConducting balance sheet reconciliations and posting month-end journal entries including deferred/accrued income, lease incentives, prepayments and accrualsReconciling intercompany accountsOverseeing the reporting process being executed by service providersHandling Accounts Payable for joint ventures and company owned entitiesEnsuring tax compliance, including VAT return preparation and review.Managing relationships with service providers and stakeholders across EuropeReporting actuals versus budgets quarterly and assisting with audits.Drafting and reviewing statutory accounts.Key Skills:ACA/ACCA/ CIMA qualification and a relevant degreePrior accounting experience in either an accountancy practice or property industryProficient in monthly journal preparation, balance sheet reconciliations, and UK GAAP management account preparation (including consolidation)Skilled in managing stakeholder relationships and reviewing service providers' work, including tax filings in the UK and Europe.Strong attention to detail, numerical proficiency, and advanced Excel skillsWorking experience with accounting software (Xero, Sage, or Yardi is advantageous)If you are looking for first move out of practice into the property industry and you have the experience required, be sure to apply ASAP!
