Financial Accountant

Recruiting for a Financial Accountant to join a marketing insights business for a 6 month contract. This finance department is recently established and as processes are still being established the role and requirements may change as the business involves.
Looking for an immediate start and paying £400-£450 a day inside IR35 depending on level of experience.
Responsibilities include:
– Review & prepare monthly general ledger account reconciliations including accruals, prepayments, fixed assets etc.
– Review & prepare monthly journal entries
– Review monthly revenue recognition
– Review & prepare monthly accruals
– Bank reconciliations
– Assist in the preparation of monthly financial statements, including balance sheet and profit and loss statements
– Assist with audit preparation and requests
– Assist with Purchasing and Accounts Payable functions
– Maintain effective relationships with business partners
– Participate in ERP testing & implementation
This would suit a qualified accountant (ACCA/ACA or equivalent) either trained through industry or with hands on experience outside of practice/audit.
