Working at Signant Health puts you in the very heart of the world's most exciting sector - a high-growth, dynamic company in an extraordinary industry.Where do you fit in?The Financial Accountant reports to the UK and Ireland Financial controller (FC) and is responsible for a variety of tasks in the Financial Control team including the UK month end reporting, statutory compliance and ad hoc projects. It is a key role in ensuring the UK finance team performs to the required level on local issues and also supports the VP Finance in relation the group finance objectives. As the business is growing quickly the role will require adaptability as it will change in line with business requirements.As part of our team, your main responsibilities will be:To complete the monthly accounting for UK and Ireland and other corporate entities including:Booking all required journals to close the ledgers for month-end.Preparing balance sheet reconciliations for all material balances and prepare analysis of movements in the month.To ensure all P&L bookings are correct in terms of the general ledger and working with the FPA team to help answer there queries on movements.Control of the UK, Ireland and Corporate companies' intercompany reconciliation process. This includes understanding the requirements for reporting of the transfer pricing.To support the FC in any other analysis required to complete month-end.Cash flow modelling and analysis in addition to managing the weekly payment runs to ensure the cash position of the UK companies are optimized.To assist the FC in the Group and local year-end reporting processes including:-Helping prepare the year-end audit schedules and playing a key role in dealing with the auditors.Helping draft the year-end statutory financial statements for the UK and Ireland entities which are prepared under IFRS.Assisting the FC and Director of Financial Consolidation on the group audit in terms of helping to prepare the UK and Ireland submission of the Group reporting pack, providing analysis relating required by the Group auditors and helping were required on the Group financial statements preparation process.To assist the FC in meeting the tax and statutory requirements of the UK and Ireland business including:Ensuring the entities filings with companies' house are completed when required.Preparing and filing the VAT returns and related reporting for both UK and Ireland entities.Working with HR to ensure all payroll and benefits related taxes and regulations are complied with for UK and Ireland.Working with PwC to complete the annual tax returns are prepared.Controlling UK National Statistics submissions.Working on a variety of ad hoc projects including but not restricted to:Assisting on intercompany cleanup projects such as transfer pricing at local and Group level.Cash flow modelling and analysis to ensure the cash position of the UK and Ireland companies are optimized.Work on the project to move reconciliations to OneStream.Assisting the FC to work on the controls, procedures and reporting documentation.Business partnering with other streams in the UK to improve processes and cost control.Working with other finance territories to improve the efficiency of the overall finance team performance.Other international finance projects as the business continues to grow.You'll need to bring:Part qualified or qualified accountant with a recognized qualification or qualified by experience.Practical accounting experience in a fast-changing environment.Excel skills to an intermediate level.Time management skills and be able to manage their workload in a fast-changing environment.Confident manner and good communication skills for dealing with both finance and non-finance.We know that everyone has different wants and needs, which is why along with a highly competitive base salary, we support our people and their loved ones with a variety of perks and benefits.
