Financial Accountant£40,000 DOE + benefitsGreater Bristol Area - HybridQuinton Davies is pleased to be working on behalf of a client based in South Gloucestershire for the appointment of a Financial Accountant on a Fixed Term basis. The ideal candidate will be part or fully qualified with an appropriate accountancy qualification, and able to reliably commute into the office circa 2 days per week.Role & DeliverablesSupport members of the Finance team on an ad hoc basisPosting financial journals as required.Manage intercompany documents .Prepare management accounts on a monthly / quarterly/ annual basis.Have a good understanding of financial controlsPreparing statutory accounts.Production of regulatory returnsIdentify efficiencies in processes and assist with implementing change.Support relevant consolidation journals.Support ad-hoc projects and investigations as required.Key CharacteristicsQualified accountant or in later stages of a professional accounting qualification (ACCA/CIMA/ACA)Good process and accounting knowledge.Strong statutory accounting.Competent in all aspects of Microsoft Office.Challenges processes, identifying areas for continuous improvement.Strong communication and written skills.Good time management, communication and organisational skills.Strong accounting standards knowledgeLine management potential or experiencePlease get in touch with Harry Gibson if you are interested in learning more about this roleThanks for considering an application.
