Financial Accountant - 12-month FTC (potential to go permanent) - North Manchester - £30,000 - £40,000 DOE (Hybrid & Flexible working)Axon Moore is exclusively currently working alongside PE backed business who are embarking on a period of exceptional growth which has presented an opportunity to enhance the finance team for a 12- month FTC (potential to go permanent). Working in a shared services centre, this Financial Accountant role will have significant breadth of responsibility and provide great exposure.Reporting into Chief Accountant ,the position is ideally suited for individuals with a background in audit, management accounts, transactional finance and building external relationships.For individuals looking for a move into an organisation that focuses on culture, great work-life balance and providing ownership in the role then this is for you.Main DutiesWorking as part of the finance team to complete the Month end process & reconciliations.Month-end: preparation, journal postings, assisting with intercompany reconciliation, balance sheet reconciliationsAssist with the audit, statutory accounts, and tax compliance.Assisting with VAT returns, providing analysis for Corporate Tax, ensuring accurate paymentsContinuously support the finance team with any other ad hoc requirementsThe ideal candidate:Part-Qualified ACCA/CIMABackground with exposure to audit, month end and transactional finance.Inquisitive and adaptive attitude, with fantastic communication skills as you will be liaising with different parts of the businessPrevious experience of SAP would be desirableAdvanced Excel skill set.Ability to work in a fast paced environment.An excellent team player, willing to help in other areas of the business if and where requiredFor immediate consideration please send updated CV to #####.
