Proactively arranging independent checks and administration of work to specific internal control owners throughout the businessAccruals and prepaymentsManagement of the accounts payable function including arranging payments to ensure alignment to the cash forecast, reconciliation of statements where applicable, reviewing and approving vendor down payments and assisting with coding of non-PO invoicesCash forecast coordination. Pulling together the cash forecast with input from payroll and credit control, and reporting on a weekly basis to HQAnalytically assess and prepare reconciliation with actuals, explaining deviationsCredit card program administratorConcur administrator duties including assisting users with expense claims, compliance checks and running the monthly BACS claims to employeesPreparing bank reconciliationsBeing the first point of contact for the various bank accountsPO, GR and IR investigation and reconciliationClearing down of historical itemsPrepare balance sheet reconciliations for areas of responsibilityProviding absence cover for Finance ManagerTraining of other departments in finance activities such as expensesAssisting with key events/busy periods throughout the year, including financial year end, audit periods (interim, final and internal), and budget processesTraining to other members of finance teamPerson Specification:Excellent communication skillsInfluencing and persuasion skillsAbility to build and maintain relationshipsTeam working skills & helping others during heavy load timesOrganisational skillsAbility to act independentlyFlexibility and ability to adapt to changeAttention to detailTime managementPrioritisation of key tasksIf this role looks of interest then please get in touch or apply now
