The business are a fast-growing, private-equity backed media/investment company.RoleThe Financial Accountant position within this growing PE backed business is based in Kensington, West London, however can also be a hybrid/remote role. The position is on a permanent basis and is quite broad, varied and challenging. This role will play a pivotal part in managing financial operations for the German entity, necessitating proficiency in German GAAP, consolidations, and intercompany transactions. Additionally, support for the Dutch entity with Dutch GAAP will be required.Key Responsibilities:Oversee financial accounting activities for our German entity, ensuring adherence to German GAAP and regulatory standards.Manage the consolidation process, including preparing consolidated financial statements and reconciling intercompany transactions.Collaborate cross-functionally to ensure accurate and timely financial reporting.Provide insightful analysis to support decision-making and strategic planning.Assist in audit and tax compliance efforts related to the German entity.Continuously assess and enhance accounting processes and controls to optimize efficiency and accuracy.Additional ad-hoc support to the Dutch entity, ensuring compliance with Dutch GAAP and regulatory requirements.ProfileIdeally for this Financial Accountant within this PE backed media/investment business based in London, you will need to be switched on, an excellent communicator, hardworking and can take full ownership of the role from start to finish.Finalist level or newly qualified (ACA, ACCA, CIMA) accountant with relevant experience in financial accounting and reporting.Proficient in German GAAP with prior experience in managing German entities.Fluent in German and English (verbally and written)Demonstrated expertise in consolidations and intercompany accounting.Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret financial data and provide actionable insights.Detail-oriented mindset with a commitment to precision and compliance.Effective communication skills for collaborating across international teams and conveying complex financial concepts clearly.CompanyThe company for this Financial Accountant position within this PE backed business based in London are rapidly scaling with recent brand new investment.
