About MRN

About the role…
We are now looking for a Group Financial Accountant to join our team in the UK. The Group Financial Accountant will be responsible for.
Lead on month-end close processes including balance sheet reconciliations and analysis.
Assist the Group Financial Controller with the year-end audit process and preparation of statutory accounts.
Assist Group Financial Controller on the management of global tax and transfer pricing.
Work collaboratively with overseas advisers to ensure filing deadlines and required payments on account are met.
Support the Finance division to create a high performing and collaborative team.
To be seen as a technical expert across the business, and to provide expert opinion with regards to financial matters.
Assist on ad-hoc financial projects, including support with expansion into new countries.
Skills, Experience, and Qualifications…
Fully qualified ACA or ACCA accountant.
Excellent level of demonstrable technical accounting skills which includes balance sheet reconciliations and month end preparation.
Track-record of delivering insight on complex financial information to senior stakeholders and influencing change.
Previous experience of working within a high-growth, commercial SME environment.
Experience of working in a global organisation with entities in overseas jurisdictions including the UK, US, EU and APAC.
Proven capability in delivering process change and driving continuous improvement projects.
