Financial Accountant

DK Recruitment are looking for a skilled Financial Reporting Specialist to join our clients team. In this role, you'll be responsible for preparing financial reports, developing dashboard reporting, coordinating customer finance operations, and ensuring confidentiality in all aspects of the role.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop dashboard reporting for departmental use, extracting and presenting insights from databases.


• Prepare all financial reports, including income statements, balance sheets, VAT returns, and external reporting.


• Review reports and analyse projected sales and profit against actual figures, suggesting methods for improvement.


• Meet regularly with the senior management team to provide insights and guidance.


• Prepare annual accounts to final TB stage, including schedules for external auditors.

Skills & Qualifications:

• Proficiency in Microsoft 365 products including Outlook, Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.


• Strong analytical, business planning, problem-solving, and motivational skills.


• Advanced Excel skills with previous experience in dashboard applications such as Power BI or Pivot tables.


• Excellent oral and written communication skills, with the ability to discuss financing options directly with customers.


• Qualified or part-qualified with experience in a similar position.


• High level of accuracy, organisational skills, and ability to work within agreed timelines.
