Simpson Judge are partnered with an international business, based in Preston. They're looking to hire a Financial Accountant to join a busy central finance team and support the Finance Director, taking ownership of the group accounts.

The Financial Accountant whilst reporting into the Finance Director will provide technical guidance to the group.

FINANCIAL ACCOUNTANT KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Assist in the production of the monthly Group consolidated accounts.
• Monthly reconciliation and review of balance sheet accounts
• Support the various external and internal audits.
• Assist in the production of the annual report and accounts.
• KPI reporting providing analysis.
• Assisting in the consolidation and production of budgets and forecasts
• Providing technical guidance to Group Companies
• Support remediation of identified internal controls gaps.
• Contribute to updates of the accounting policies and procedures.

FINANCIAL ACCOUNTANT REQUIREMENTS

• The successful candidate will be ACA or ACCA qualified.
• 3 years plus post qualified
• Have experience working in a similar Financial Accounting position.
• Good systems knowledge

For this the Financial Accountant will receive a competitive salary of up to �60,000 + excellent benefits, including hybrid working.
