Financial Accountant

• Oversee day to day financial transactions, journals including month end processes and general ledger reviews.
• Prepare monthly management accounts & analysis and report to the Financial Controller
• Maintain Vendor relationships and handle inquiries
• Taking a lead role in control account reconciliations, prepayments, accruals and recharges
• Provide bookkeeping support to the team on a daily basis
• Managing business insurance renewal process and owning relationship with broker
• Prepare information to support on budgeting & forecasting

Qualifications/Requirements:

• Qualified Accountant
• Experience within engineering or construction (desirable)
• Understanding of UK GAAP and IFRS 15
• Strong attention to detail with technical financial reporting
• High Proficiency with Sage and Excel
• Motivation to grow in the role
