Financial Accountant - Tax/Treasury / Leeds- Hybrid / £45,000 DOE with BenefitsMarks Sattin are delighted to be collaborating with distribution company in Leeds a who are looking on expanding their Finance Team. This is an exciting opportunity for a first time mover to join a fast paced and constantly changing environment within a fantastic business.The Role:As a Financial Accountant, you will be reporting to the Head of Tax & Treasury, while being a key part of the tax and treasury team with the opportunity to get involved in a wide range of work, covering multiple tax, treasury and accounting areas.Day to Day:Take responsibility for the accounting for treasury related activities including loans, interest, dividends, foreign exchange, hedging.Prepare cash forecasting for the group to enable efficient cash repatriation, foreign exchange management and funding for business needs.Prepare statutory accounts for the group holding companies.Preparation a variety of tax returns including corporate tax returns, VAT, Plastics packaging taxes.Assist with the accounting for taxes.Supporting, monitoring and calculating Group-wide transfer pricing and documentation.Involvement on a variety of tax and treasury projects both in the UK and overseas (e.g. transfer pricing, system development, corporate simplification, acquisition tax due diligence/support).Supporting environmental reporting and environmental taxesKey Skills & Qualifications:Experience liaising with stakeholders and having strong communication skillsBe qualified or studying towards CTA / ACA / ACCAMotivated to learn and develop in the areas of tax and treasuryKnowledge of corporation TaxBenefits:Car AllowanceAnnual BonusGreat Pension SchemeRegular training and career developmentApply by submitting a copy of your CV or by contacting Aleksandra Taranovskaja | #####
