Financial Accountant - Spanish Speaking

Simpson Judge is currently working with a growing FMCG business in Central Manchester who are looking to appoint a Spanish speaking Financial Accountant. The successful applicant will complete all monthly postings to the ledger as well as assist with local entity tax compliance.

This is a permanent position with a hybrid work model, easily accessible by public transport.

Salary: �28,000 - �35,000

Roles/ Responsibilities

• Preparation of month end balance sheet reconciliations
• Intercompany accounting and reconciliations
• Compliance of local entity stats
• Assistance with local entity tax compliance
• Assistance with audits and in country filings
• Support with FP&A work for the region
• Cost control and accounting for retail products
• Assistance with preparation of annual budgets
• Assistance with completion of monthly forecasts
• Assistance with other treasury activities
• Support sales teams with commercial proposals and pricing
• Complete all monthly postings to the ledger

Skills/ Experience

• Spanish speaking is essential
• Experience working in a global environment
• AAT qualified or part qual ACCA / CIMA / ACA
• Experience performing multicurrency consolidations
• Experience and exposure to IFRS
• Experience with cost and inventory accounting
• Experience in the manufacturing sector desired but not necessary
• SAP Business One would be an advantage
