Job DescriptionJob Title: Financial AccountantLocation: HailshamSalary Range: £35,000 - £45,000About the Company: Our client is a dynamic and thriving Independent Financial Adviser (IFA) Practice with a strong commitment to providing top-tier financial services. We are currently seeking a motivated and detail-oriented individual to join our finance department as a Financial Accountant.Role Overview: As a Financial Accountant, you will play a crucial role in our client's finance department, focusing on the preparation of financial documents such as Self-Assessment tax returns for individuals and companies, Management Accounts, and other related procedures. You will receive comprehensive training and study support, with the ultimate goal of becoming a Chartered Tax Adviser.Key Responsibilities:Preparation of monthly management accountsCompilation of statutory accountsCompletion of Self-Assessment tax returnsSubmission of Limited Company Tax ReturnsReconciliation of commission statementsInvoicing and Credit Control activitiesAdministration of long lease properties (preparing accounts, issuing maintenance and ground rent invoices)Analysis and reconciliation of expenses and receiptsGeneration of Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) for the company and advisersProduction of documents/KPIs for regulatory returnsProvision of treasurer services to local charitiesQualifications and Skills:Qualified or part-qualified accountantACCA/ACAExperience in dealing with Personal TaxHighly organized with efficient time management and the ability to prioritize workloads.Excellent communication skills, both verbal and writtenAbility to work independently and collaboratively as part of a team.Computer literate, with advanced proficiency in Excel, Word, and OutlookStrong attention to detailPrevious experience with Xero is preferred but not essential.Benefits:Competitive salaryComprehensive training and study supportOpportunities for career developmentPositive and collaborative working environmentIf you are a dedicated and skilled accountant looking to contribute to a dynamic financial team and grow in your career, we invite you to apply for this exciting opportunity.
