Finance Transformation Project Manager

Your new company We are currently recruiting for a Finance Transformation Project Manager contract position for one of our reputable clients in the insurance industry.The successful candidate will be clearly articulate, confident, fluent in Project Management, have excellent Stakeholder Management, strong gravitas and be a catalyst when leading a team. They are looking for someone with a strong financial background and experience of working on financial related projects.The contract will initially be 3–6 months (with the opportunity of extension).The rate will be £500-£550 per day inside IR35.It will be a hybrid role, with an expectation of 2–3 days per week onsite in Manchester. Desired experience for this role: Strong finance process control/management experienceFinancial Services and commercial experienceRegulatory/compliance and risk reduction experiencePreferred experience in leading and influencing change in Financial control environment including establishing management oversight of MVP delivery, Measurements of success, Performance management, Key success factors, timelinesDemonstrable experience of projects within a Finance Transformation programmeExperience of working in with agility and Fin Ops, Accounts Payable, Sanctions Assurance, Commissions/Claims/Credit Control, Financial Control frameworks, IMS regulations, UK Consumer Reforms, Automation and Process Mapping/Mining tools experience is advantageous.Experience of operating at Project Management on high profile delivery projects for regulated blue-chip organisations with strong delivery experience, including working with 3rd party suppliers.
