Job DescriptionWe are seeking an experienced and proactive Project Manager to lead Finance System Implementation Programme, specifically focused on NetSuite for one our client in Birmingham. The ideal candidate will have a strong consulting background. This role requires a balance between seniority and hands-on involvement in project execution, along with the ability to work in ambiguous environments and pivot as required. The successful candidate must possess deep process knowledge and demonstrate proactive behaviours, stakeholder management skills, and the ability to drive project delivery.Project Leadership and Delivery:Lead the Finance System Implementation Programme, overseeing all aspects of the project lifecycle from initiation to post-implementation support.Develop and execute comprehensive project plans, ensuring alignment with strategic objectives and stakeholder expectations.Take ownership of project delivery, actively managing risks, issues, and dependencies to ensure successful outcomes.Drive accountability within the project team, ensuring adherence to deadlines and deliverables.Stakeholder Management:Build and maintain strong relationships with stakeholders across the organization, including finance, IT, and senior leadership.Effectively manage stakeholder expectations by providing regular updates on project progress, risks, and recommendations.Collaborate with key stakeholders to gather requirements, define project scope, and drive decision-making processes.Process Knowledge and Innovation:Apply deep process knowledge to drive the implementation of NetSuite and related finance systems, going beyond traditional project management responsibilities.Identify opportunities for process improvement and innovation, leveraging consulting experience and industry best practices.Generate creative solutions to complex challenges, ensuring alignment with strategic objectives and stakeholder priorities.Execution:Take a hands-on approach to project management, actively involved in managing risks and issues, drawing up detailed plans, and creating content.Ensure adherence to project timelines and deliverables, making strategic decisions to keep the project on track.Demonstrate the ability to manage risks and issues independently, proactively mitigating potential roadblocks.Project duration of 6-9+ months.Hybrid working, with an expectation of 2 days in our Birmingham office (Mailbox, B1 1RF), every other week.Travel cost can be expensed.Rates circa £750-850
