Finance Transformation Manager- Surrey (Hybrid)- Up to £90,000 plus benefits- 1 Year Contract 

IN2 Consult is partnering with a nationally recognised organisation on the recruitment of a highly experienced Finance Transformation Lead to join their team and lead on a finance change programme across the organisation. 

You will have previous experience in the following: 


  • Demonstrated track record of successfully delivering projects and programs within specified timeframes, maintaining quality standards, and adhering to budget constraints, ensuring the realization of objectives and benefits.
  • Expertise in overseeing Project Managers and Business Analysts, with or without formal line management authority, while navigating matrix management across various business domains, including external teams.
  • Proven ability to engage with both business and IT stakeholders at all organizational levels, exhibiting exceptional oral and written communication skills, coupled with remarkable project management and problem-solving abilities.
  • Outstanding organizational skills, encompassing efficient time management, task prioritization, and scheduling for oneself and the project team, along with exceptional influencing skills, essential for advocating ideas to senior leadership.

In this role, your responsibilities will include:


  • Leading the implementation of the Finance Improvement/Transformation Programme, aligning with organisations vision for an enhanced finance function, while staying informed about other company wide projects and their implications for the future of finance.
  • Planning, organizing, leading, and monitoring various projects within the programme, establishing effective workstreams such as Compliance & Audit, Systems and Technology, Cash and Commercial Thinking, to ensure deadlines are met and strategic objectives are advanced.
  • Collaborating closely with senior finance management, auditors, and other stakeholders to foster a cooperative change environment and providing change management support to address operational and technical challenges.
  • Developing a robust reporting system for key stakeholders, enhancing the team's reporting and monitoring capabilities, and consolidating program documentation into clear reports for steering groups and senior stakeholders.
  • Implementing efficient project workstreams that align with the Finance Maturity Programme's governance and methodology, while conducting thorough risk management to identify and mitigate potential issues.

Ideal candidates will possess:


  • Experience working within established project methodologies such as PRINCE or APM, along with a proven track record of implementing complex business transformation programs involving finance people, policy, process, and systems changes.
  • Comprehensive knowledge of finance departments, shared services, and finance systems, including their procurement, initiation, and implementation processes.
  • Extensive experience in delivering and embedding new Target Operating Models (TOM) to drive organizational efficiency and effectiveness.
