Job Description:

Full time job Monday to Friday 9 - 5

As a Finance Technician at , you will play a vital role in assisting management and financial accountants in producing timely and accurate financial reports and information.

You will contribute to the efficient functioning of our Financial Services team.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist in producing financial reports and reconciliations accurately and promptly.
• Aid in the preparation of internal and statutory returns to ensure compliance with regulations and best practices.
• Maintain financial records with precision and completeness.
• Provide ad-hoc financial management information as needed.
• Contribute to the continual development of financial processes to enhance efficiency.
• Offer administrative support to the Finance Directorate.

General Responsibilities:

• Assist in the preparation of business cases, tenders, and quotations in line with regulations.
• Provide high-level internal and external customer service.
• Foster effective relationships with stakeholders.
• Comply with organizational frameworks, policies, and procedures.
• Undertake project work as directed by management.
• Perform any other duties assigned to meet organizational needs.

Experience and Qualifications:

• HNC in a relevant subject or equivalent, with a minimum of two years' experience in a Finance environment;

or

Minimum of 5 GCSEs at grades A, B, or C (including English Language and Mathematics), with a minimum of three years' experience in a Finance environment.

• Competent in using Windows and Microsoft applications.
• Demonstrated effective planning, organization, communication, and customer service skills.

Desirable:

• Fully qualified Accounting Technician, with membership of a recognized body.
• Experience working in the public sector.
