Finance Team Supervisor

SF Recruitment are currently recruiting a skilled and experienced Finance Team Supervisor for an opportunity based near Longbridge, Birmingham.

This role is initally an ongoing temporary opportunity, which could lead to a long term opportunity for the right candidate.

You must be immediately available or available on short notice for your application to be considered.

The ideal candidate will have a solid background in accounting, exceptional attention to detail, and a proactive approach to problem-solving. As a Senior Accounts Assistant, you will play a crucial role in maintaining billing, accounts payable, accounts receivable, credit control and supporting the overall finance function.
Key Responsibilities:

• Ensure all billing is completed in a timely manner
• Perform bank reconciliations and ensure accuracy of financial data
• Process accounts payable and accounts receivable transactions
• Chase aged debt in a timely manner
• Assist with month-end and year-end closing processes
• Collaborate with other departments to resolve accounting discrepancies
• Senior to team reporting in to Management - Provide support to the finance team as needed

Requirements:

• Proven experience as an Account supervisor, Senior Accounts Assistant across Billing, Credit Control, Accounts Receivable and Accounts Payable
• Strong knowledge of accounting principles and practices
• Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Excel
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to prioritise tasks and meet deadlines
• Attention to detail and high level of accuracy
