We are currently recruiting for a Finance Systems Analyst for one of our wealth management clients who is a leading and ambitious entity in the finance industry with a robust presence of approximately 450 dedicated professionals spread across the UK and the Channel Islands.
Salary offered up to £70,000 per annum with the flexibility of a hybrid working arrangement.
Role Overview -
The purpose of this role is to support the operational stability of Finance systems, including but not limited to IBM Planning Analytics system (“TM1”), Power BI, PS Financials, Procurement & Expense systems. This individual will also support users of these systems and support the ongoing development of these systems.
Support the operational stability of Finance systems:
Manage the system-related elements of the Finance monthly processes e.g. supporting data flows, rolling accounting periods
Own and maintain the existing finance systems data structures e.g. chart of accounts, business hierarchies
Support any system management activities required e.g. configuration updates, integrations, and upgrades.
Support the resolution of system issues:
Investigate and determine the root cause of the issue
Coordinate as required, to resolve system issues
Develop plans for long-term remediation of repeat issues, and work closely with Finance and other functional teams to deliver in an appropriate timeframe
Support the Finance team with system usage:
Help Finance leverage the technology assets to the maximum extent
Provide support to system users as needed e.g. develop new reporting packs
Develop materials and deliver training to close any system-related knowledge gaps within Finance
Knowledge Skills and Experience -
Background in technology in either a system administration, end-user support, or development capacity
TM1/Planning Analytics development experience is absolutely essential
Prior experience in managing P2P & expense systems is preferable e.g. Coupa, Concur, etc.
Ideally Wealth Management experience, but willing to consider wider FS/outside of the industry
Strong in-person and online stakeholder management skills
PowerBI experience
Prior experience managing ERP systems e.g. Workday, SAP, D365
Experience in system development best practice and project delivery best practice
