An opportunity has arisen for a Finance Supervisor to work within an established and growing family business. This is a great opportunity for a dynamic and flexible individual to work within a dedicated team, ensuring financial information is timely, detailed and accurate.This full-time role will require a degree of flexibility which will include the ability to travel weekly between our offices in Bury St Edmunds and Lowestoft. Experience of managing others would be desirable.Some key responsibilities of the role:Provide line management and leadership to the Accounts AdministratorsAssist in production of monthly management accounts for the groupProcess monthly payroll for all of our branchesTo reconcile balance sheets and intercompany transactionsTo assist with CIS and DRC responsibilities and associated worksAssist with Company VAT returnsTo produce labour utilisation, sales graphs and other operational management reports as necessaryEnsure compliance with company policies and proceduresSuitable candidates would have:Proven experience in management reporting, budgeting, forecasting and project accountingConfidence with Accounting systems, Sage Intacct desirableIntermediate/ Advanced Excel skills and experience with Microsoft 365Previous experience of Management Accounts and the ability to demonstrate technical accounting knowledgeExperience in multi-entity accounting, CIS and DRC would be an advantageExperience of, and proficiency in processing payrollGood communication skills and who is comfortable and confident building relationships across the businessA detail orientated approach and is self-reflective, taking responsibility for reviewing own workProactivity, be self-motivated with a good degree of initiative, and eager to learn and growAbility to manage time and deliver goals and objectivesTeam player, willing to accept responsibility and to supervise and support other team members as requiredIdeally experience of managing othersA dynamic and flexible nature and willingness to empower othersA systematic approach to solving problems, improving process and procedures and developing and improving ways of workingHonesty, be trustworthy and respectfulConfidence to explain financial aspects of the business to non-financial colleaguesEverything we do at Pitkin & Ruddock starts with people; our success is built on long-term working relationships with our customers, employees and suppliers.
